So fun!  Like when they do a roll call to introduce each character!  Harren brings the kaiju genre into four color comics format with those strong brushlines and ben day dots.

He definitely captures that. I love the contrast from the first two panels to Boosh. The dots really change the tone in regards to how Boosh is presented. Clearly not as threatening at first glance as Straxx and Ripbash.

You beat Reba to the comments, this is clearly my fault.

Why do those dots work so well in the Boosh panel? It's so crazy that they make us all laugh when we see that panel. Such awesome storytelling by Harren. This series is his magnum opus! Congrats on adding two pages. You must have been fast on the drop! =)

I know, right? It's amazing that the transition to the dots can do that. It really does makes you laugh. I absolutely love the change of tone. Very fast and very lucky on this one!

So true re those unnacountably amusing dots!  I just now noticed the puffs of "exhaust" eminating from Boosh, in contrast to the heavy metal smoke machine working in the upper panels introducing the scary monsters.

Completely agree, every single page has something that captures the signature Harren style.
