DescriptionWorking on getting a copy of issue 2 to make sure but I think this is the unpublished cover to issue 3. A lot of art from that period when Dell split off from Western publishing exists as it was contracted through an artist name Joe Chili and he or his estate sold it all off decades ago in complete books. I have never seen an unpublished cover before from that lot but this looks like Springer's art of the period and is definitely not in the first issue. it is nice to finally half a piece of Charlie Chan art for the exhibit given how long he periodically was featured inc comics.Social/Sharing |
