Description
Scott Morse is one of my favorite artists across several mediums. His long term day job is as a story artist and director at Pixar Animation but he has a great backlog of comic, and illustration work too. He was also one of the founders of Tr!ckster, which held court for a few summers at SDCC; an amazing pop up where I built a lot of great con memories. The 2019 SDCC didnt have a Tr!ckster but Scott was there promoting his creator owned graphic novel "Dugout: the Zombie steals home" and he was doing these incredible ball point pen doodles. I havent seen a lot of sketches or fan art that included Jake Free from the Tom King/Mitch Gerads Mister Miracle series; so this piece became a priority pickup for me at the con. We had a great chat about the book and showed each other some other Mister Miracle and Barda pieces we had both collected.
