Description

Super cool cover from superstar artist, Ryan Stegman! We don't get to see a ton of his published Hulk art these days so was thrilled to see this cover drop. This scan was borrowed from the net; the blacks are not as smooth on the original and his sig is digitally added. Will need to get my own scan and update next time!

Pretty awesome! I can imagine the red glow from Cyclops' broken visor under lighting the Hulk.

Cyclops is just playing possum. You notice his right arm slowly crossing Hulks left foot which can only mean one thing. The legendary Funk family Spinning Toe Hold!!!

Cyclops tried it on Professor X in the danger room and X wouldn't tap. We all know how that turned out.

The use of light makes for a very dramatic cover. I would be curious to see the (real) quality of the inks.

I have no idea what colors they chose for the published cover, but there is just ABSOLUTELY NO WAY they could improve on this B&W version. Absolutely stunning! Congrats bud.

"You're next." That devilish grin and look at the viewer is awesome. And it's kind of gruesome (and cool) that the light source is pulverized Cyclops. Very nice cover. Congrats!

Cyke's seen better days, eh? And the big man looks pretty happy with himself :) Great Stegman get - love how he rendered the lighting effect throughout! The published went with a ruby red hue, which was pretty cool. Congrats!

Spectacular Savage Hulk cover by Ryan Stegman! I love this pose of the Hulk standing over the defeated Cyclops. Lighting the scene from below makes the Hulk look even more frightening. Stunning pick-up!
