Description

My little brother, and a load of my friends clubbed together to get me my grail.

This is my all time favourite piece by Alan Davis. Without question my favourite piece in my collection.

A special thanks to the magnificent Jim Warden at DOA.

Davis & Farmer did some great work on this mini, but their take on the G.L. Corps is absolutely spectacular. I liked how they gave just about everybody at least one good splash page to show their stuff without it feeling gratuitous. And you are right, this one's a keeper, for sure. (PS Who's the GL that looks like Validus?)

That is an amazing piece; truly a Grail! I love Davis' work, an artist whose work has continued to develop and evolve over the years. This piece is him in full flight, showing off some great design and compositional skills - so much detail, yet none of it wasted. Pure power and elegance as very few can capture.
