DescriptionMost collectors would know that obtaining a page from this breakout series was almost impossible - such was the immense demand that pages from Felix's website sold out immediately literally within seconds during each art drop. I count myself extemely fortunate to have gotten this page. The popularity of the series was not only due to Donny Cates's characteristically excellent writing but also to the meticulous as well as wonderful artwork by Tradd Moore. His unusual style was perhaps ideally suited to this particular series. And this page epitomizes the excellence of this artist - from every perspective (and, perhaps, especially perspective). The page literally speaks for itself.What surprised me, though, was the fact (so I am told) that pages from this series have appreciated so greatly in price over a relatively short space of time. Looked at from one perspective, this is not surprising because this is excellent art and demand far outstrips supply. However, we need also to be careful not to overemphasize the financial aspects of a hobby that is intended to be enjoyed and to capture our sense of wonder. Iconic 2nd panel showing the Surfer's willingness to get close to the beings on planets before marking them for Galactus. There's still a part of him that is wanting to spare intelligent life.

This was the first page I tried for in the drop. It has all the classic Surfer elements but also has all the elements of a Tradd page that you could want. Such a beauty! Huge congrats on snagging this for your great collection!

Phenomenal Tradd page. Every panel is a show stopper. Put them together and you have a masterpiece of a panel page. Congrats on a stellar piece!

Spectacular Moore example! Wish I had already figured out how good this was back when I could have at least competed in one of Felix's SSB drops, but I sure enjoy seeing these pages on CAF these days!

CHOMP! That's the sound of you gobbling up an amazing page into your collection. That second panel is pretty much perfect. I'm glad to have some Tradd in my collection, but man I'd LOVE to have a page from this series. Gorgeous art. Huge congrats!
