Description

Reginald Cleaver was a discovery I made several years back. He was a very prolific artist who worked for The London Graphic, Punch, and contributed to many books.He worked in ink and pencils. Many times, he combined the two. A central pencil piece surrounded by inked vignettes. I think he deserves much more recognition. His ability to capture movement and setting was amazing. His inking is beautiful. I'm sure there are newspaper archives filled with many wonderful examples of his work, just waiting to be discovered.
