Description
Following one of the most convoluted journeys ever undertaken, and mainly thanks to the wonderful Brett B, am very happy to have these three Pogo strips in my collection. I love the more minor figures. I do not even have a Pogo with Pogo in it. Lol. It should be about content and these tickle my funny bone.

The sailors say, "Awry, you're a fine girl" (you're a fine girl)
"What a good wife you would be" (such a fine girl)
"Yeah, your eyes could steal a sailor from the sea"

I did wonder why she was called awry. I had a good look and her eyes are awry all the time. She has wonky eyes. Your poem proves that salty sea dogs would shag any female after a long voyage. The Arrr in pirate films is the arrr of painful need, which brings us to the fish and the sea link.. Did Walt Kelly know of this poem, Marcus? These are the sort of questions that need to be answered. Lol.
