I am helping to host a Benefit Auction for a truly historic Punisher page. It is the last page to Peter Parker, The Spectacular Spider-Man #83, published by Marvel Comics in 1983. It features the conclusion of the classic Punisher storyline, with the end of the Trial Of The Punisher, and is the last time the Punisher appears in a comic before the 1986 mini-series. That Limited Series would change the trajectory of the character forever, leading to multiple ongoing series, and the Punisher guest-starring in numerous books in the late 1980’s and early 1990’s. But this is from earlier on in the character’s history, when his appearances were few and far between (imagine the Punisher not appearing in a comic for multiple years!), and is literally the last-ever page featuring the Punisher before he had ever had his own series! The page measures approximately 10" by 16", and has clipped edges (which was common on many pages from this time period). It is a memorable and haunting page, with the Punisher depicted in a way you rarely if ever have seen him, and with a shaken Peter Parker wondering if the same fate lies in store for Spiderman one day.

The page is being made available from the collection of a close friend of mine. He is not on the site, so I am hosting the auction here on his behalf. He has decided to give CAF members first shot before making a decision on possibly putting the page up with an auction house, so if you’d like to make an offer here, you can save on premiums and fees. You will be paying him directly, and the page will be coming from him. He is one of the best people I know, and he and his wife have an adorable little baby, so you can feel good in knowing that not only will you be getting a truly amazing piece of historic Punisher artwork, but you will also be helping some wonderful people at the same time.
