DescriptionI forgot I had this since it was in a portfolio I didn't look in very often. It is NOT the actual hand-drawn art/lettering. The DC production dept. did a nice clean stat of the whole page for some reason to send off with the other originals to be shot. Maybe to clean up/protect the main lettering effect.So, technically this is production art. Why they sent it to me I am not sure, but they also did that years later on some SUPERBOY covers where they did the same thing (stat) for the final piece. VERY sharp stat on stiffer/thicker board than the usual DC board. It has not faded or aged and I have stored it away from light all these years. The last 'original' ANIMAL MAN piece I have.
