Rossmo's Joker is a sociopath that does not have any conscience. He embodies the ills of society: both institutionalized and the injustices suffered in his own mind. The twisted and crooked way he is presented disturbs and challenges your sensibilities just enough to possibly sway you to his side of thinking.
