Description

Red Sonja is a fictional sword and sorcery comic-book superheroine created by writer Roy Thomas and artist Barry Windsor-Smith for Marvel Comics in 1973.

Here's Ben Caldwell's idea of (a definitely young) Red Sonja, I really love how she came up from Ben's pencil, beautiful pose and lovely expression.

I got to admit that if not for her (minimal) costume I would not have recognized her as Red Sonja. Definately a young version, as you said. The perplex look has not yet given way to her confident adult look. Congrats.

beautiful take on Sonja and quite surprising this is a take i haven't seen before. even tho this is a young Sonja. there is still a mood of chilhood innocence drawn on page. where Sonja isn't the brut killer she would become. here Sonja looks like a surviver for something better. congrats on a beautiful piece.
