DescriptionPicked up this fun page from the collection of Dewey Cassell. Comes from Wonder Woman #322 published in December 1984. Pencilled by the legendary Don Heck and inked by Rick Magyar."Bid Time Return!" Wonder Woman and Steve Trevor finally learn the secrets behind their lost memories and Steve's reanimation, and Eros, who had shared Steve's memories for a time, goes berserk. We see all three of those characters along with Hipployta on this page! Social/Sharing |

A great team as they could tackle any style Wonder Woman story. From old school superhero to ancient mythology, there was always great action and vibrant imagery. This page has classic Heck action with the modern edge of Magyar's fine enthrallments.

Thanks Marcus! I always loved Heck's work on the Avengers and this page seems to have some of the feel of those.

With an economy of linework, Heck could almost magically convey a wide range of expressions - as seen here with the wild-eyed Eros. The strange twist of the mouth is even more evocative of madness than the bold curved lines around the eyes. Nice page.

Heck did a great job on the facial expressions of the villain here. It's always fun to see the originals of Heck's WW pages.

Heck was a very under rated artist. This is a lovely page that showcases his art.
