Iron Fist vs. Sabretooth

Iron Fist #14 was one of my favorites growing up. But whereas the cover had Iron Fist bearing the brunt, I wanted to turn the tides, and have him on the offensive. With Ryan being such a talented, dynamic artist, I asked him to run with that idea. Pretty cool that that he drew Danny's chi energy to look like his chest tattoo.

Ryan is such an approachable artist, draws fast, and is super easy to work with. Ryan's background is in fine art and art history, so he is familar with many different art styles. He mentioned to me that unless asked otherwise, he draws in his default 'house' style, as this one was. But he is adaptable to drawing in a wide range of styles, and is open to those types of requests. Just wanted to share that bit of info in case anyone else was considering enlisting Ryan for a commission. I wish other artists were as versatile and offered that option. I can so tell that he has pride in his work and is his own worst critic.
