DescriptionAction packed page from the Fall of the Mutants storyline. Spiral is a great character visually and indeed she is rendered as a truly vicious villain here. Great storytelling by Silvestri, with stellar inks by Green. Many thanks to Jon for a very smooth deal. Social/Sharing |

Man, Silvestri is just great pure illustrator. And storyteller. Love the flow down the page it's capped off by that killer last panel. Silvestri's still a big hole in my collection...I better get on that :) Congrats, Carlo!

This is one of the best eras of X-Men action, art and storytelling; absolutely pefect by one of my favorite creators. Huge congrats on this piece, love seeing Dazzler getting stabbed in the head by Spiral and the nemesis relationship between Spiral and Psylocke continuing.

Wow, this exciting and beautifully drawn page really pulls you in. Silvestri is such a masterful story teller. His run on UXM is so memorable because of pages like this.

Nostalgia filled and also filled with great X-beauties in battle! A great crossover X-Men event that would have ramifications that are felt even a hundred plus issues later!

Classic example of Claremont's UXM run--strong female characters (*only* female characters on the page!), evocative dialogue where each character has their own voice, and a scary edge (no other comic from the time was going to show a character getting stabbed in the face, where it was a psi-knife or not). All told through the gorgeous, energetic, organic linework of Silvestri. His tenure was so good--I recently re-read these issues and they really held up. Congrats!

An awesome storyline with truly amazing art! I remember this page well because it's not every day you see a hero get stabbed in the face. Instantly you knew that these villains weren't playing around. I love seeing this page! Huge congrats on adding it to your great collection!

Sweet page Carlo. It was cool to see Spiral in Uncanny after her debut in Longshot. Silvestri and Green were quite good!!!! 8 )

A little wig tape might've worked, too, Spiral. Little harsh, my Multi-armed stabby friend...I really dug Silvestri's X-run. Such dynamic and dark work, with great stories. Green's inks aren't too shabby, either, as he does. Sweet page. Congrats!

Marc Silvestri at his best! Love Marc's work on X-Men and this page is a fantastic example! Love the visual storytelling here--You don't need any word balloons to understand what's going on! Dan Green's inks are masterful too! Great, great page!
