DescriptionNew commission: the latest issue of my Golden Age Team-Up Project series (The Brave And The Bold #208), pairing Batman with the Shining Knight. Art by Bambos Georgiou, adapted from the cover to Heroes For Hire #3, original art by Pasqual Ferry.1942 - and in the last issue, Batman was brainwashed by Baron Blitzkrieg! Doll Man escapes from the mock-Germanic castle in upstate Gotham by throwing himself from the window and landing in the moat, but by the time he recovers, the villains and Batman have vanished. His message to the Perisphere is received by Tarantula, who passes the warning on to the other members of the All-Star Squadron, but not all of them receive it ... notably not the Shining Knight, uncomfortable with modern communication methods, who is in Gotham City for a bond rally. The Knight, astride Winged Victory, performs for a cheering crowd, but is surprised by the sudden appearance of Batman - and even more so when the Caped Crusader attacks him! Concluding that Batman must be engaging in a joust to entertain the audience and raise more money, Sir Justin plays along - but when Batman attempts to hurl him from his flying steed, he realises that something is wrong and fights back! The Shining Knight holds back, however, not wanting to harm his fellow All-Star, but Batman has no such qualms. After a long but inconclusive battle, and with both heroes on the ground, Batman hurls a gas-bomb from his utility belt, sending the Shining Knight into semi-consciousness. As Sir Justin slumps to the floor, Batman seizes his fallen blade, and prepares to slay the Shining Knight with his own sword! Continued - next issue! Social/Sharing |

A lot of horizontal lines are on this one and they vary in density to provide depth for the main players on this action composition of bold figures!
