In the Garden of the Hesperides Page 3

3rd page. I guess this story was, with the exception of a page or so from "Unbound", my first comics writing to be published. I had fun writing and drawing it.

I had shown a small sample of a much larger work to Kevin Eastman (owner of Heavy Metal), when I met him at Wizard World Chicago, back in... '99, maybe?
He passed those samples on to the editor who asked what length the story was and that 8 pages was more or less the maximum limit. The story in question would have been 90 pages, or more, but I had already started working on "In the Garden of the Hesperides", so I said, "Well, what about this?"
