The second story I did for Heavy Metal. The title is a play on "Le Morte d'Arthur" Thomas Malory's book compiling the King Arthur legends. Given that this was in Heavy Metal, some have seen the French title and assumed I must be a European artist, only to have that image of sophistication dispelled when they met me at a mid-west convention. Nope, I'm from Michigan.

What's an English book about British legends doing with a French title anyway (rhetorical question)?
