Description
Ah! The temple known as the El Ricardo.

If one were to consider it a “character” in the Ethan Reckless series, it would probably be my favourite. I mean, who wouldn’t want an old movie theatre as their base of operations, right?

Was really happy that this page was still available. Not only does each panel feature the exterior of The El Ricardo, the entire page tells a story.

Signed by Sean Phillips.

I thought the marquee was going to be Risky Business.  I guess I should have called Moviefone beforehand.  Nice shadows on his daily routine.

I agree!  The buildup to that last panel was epic.  Great work by Brubaker and Phillips!

Great page!  The environments in this story are right on the money, with the theater being the ideal base of operations, as you say.  Plus, it's telling that Ethan would spend hours cleaning up recurring graffiti on the place given that he spends so little time with people or working any real job.

Saw your Reckless pages, Artless!  Impressive!  On the page, you make a great point on Ethan putting that amount of time into cleaning up the El Ricardo's entrance considering his stance on people and work.
