Description

My favorite story of 2021. I love Paolo's art to begin with, so when I found out that he was collaborating with my favorite writer, Tom King, for a Superman story, I could not wait to read it. The story held up to my expectations, and went the extra mile by getting my eyes to well up at the end.

As such, I leapt at the chance to pick up some original art from this story, and was lucky enough to grab my favorite page (8) and this wonderful page (2) too!

I really enjoy Pa Kent's guidance to Clark here. It also doesn't hurt that panel 4 on this page beautifully mirrors panel 5 on page 8. Really smart storytelling by Rivera and King.
