Another "I'm forever grateful" acquisition which was caught up in the Huerta/ Carralero scandal but upon reframing I can clearly see the cover up evidence over Armando Huerta's signature. It is 100% Huerta image!

I consider this to be one of Armando's best. The stockings alone are simply fascinating and so real. This piece is well known and has been published numerous times.

The piece in Ricky E. Carralero's "Eye Candy" book.

Both "The Art of Ricky Carralero" by SPQ and the German "Art Premiere" by MG publishing /Art-Fantastix shows the image on page 46, however BOTH books have published the piece with Armando's signature. Hmm? That's insane in itself. So easily noticeable. After Carralero purchased and received the painting from Huerta (who was in Mexico at the time) he painted over Armando signature with his own E for Enrique and resold it as his own!

Once Armando was in the states he published and claimed "Whip It" again for himself in "Better Nasty Than Sexy "The Art of Armando Huerta". Huerta became friends with Kevin Eastman, the magazine publisher creator of TMNT with his wife, the iconic Julie Strain. Huerta's painted Julie Stain many, many times and ultimately one of his pieces graced a cover. See my "Peacemaker".
