Description

Before "Mark Trail," Ed Dodd drew "Back Home Again," described on Wikipedia as "a moderately successful daily single-panel." He seems to have sub-titled series within the series, here "The Rising Generation." Dodd's cartooning was passable, and from the few examples I've seen he generally found humor in the gender dynamics of the day, before giving that up to concentrate on the manly world of Mark Trail.

The style is more refined and elegant for this image of modern domesticated life. The stringy cloud word balloons are pretty nice as well.
