Description

Uploading two magnificent (IMHO) sequential pages from 100% today. This is page 5 from issue 3.

I've already written extensively about 100% in the write-up to the chapter 11 title splash already in my Paul Pope gallery (feel free to take a read of that!). Ironically, I thought that would be the only piece from 100% I would ever need.

But, when I saw the two pages I'm posting today, I was just taken in by the energy they absolutely exuded. They are big, bold and just beautiful. And, they help tell a great story.

That first panel is the human anatomy in full expression and impact! The brushwork within her figure is startlingly pure energy! The storytelling is shrunk in the middle in comparison hitting a valley and Pope begins to ramp up the power levels again at the end.

Congrats and welcome to the club. Great pages of Daisy, always loved the energy Paul brought to the Dollar bill scenes. FYI watch out for the fading of the straight lines. Very sensitive to light.
