Steve did both the cover abd the interior illustrations for this book.

Fabian is an illustrator in the mold of Virgil Finlay and Hannes Bok.
He was given the World Fantasy Award for Life Achievement in 2006.

Nice, I've always liked that textured look and yes, his work did often appear to be in the Finley and Bok mold.
