Azrael by Ron Salas

The first time I encountered Azarel was at the beginning of the Knightfall crossover when he was wearing some bland black leather outfit. It did not impress me. But then I tracked down the Sword of Azrael miniseries, and I was blown away by this cool costume that Joe Quesada designed. And I was so glad that Jean-Paul went back to wearing it after his failed stint as Batman. And the Azarel solo series by Dennis O'Neil (and a bunch of talented artists) that followed was extremely underrated. So yeah, what I'm saying is I like Azrael's look and his story. I commissioned Ron Salas to draw Jean-Paul, and dang, if he didn't deliver one awesome depiction of him! Azarel himself looks incredible (love that flowing cape), but also check out all those flames around him and the fiery background! As usual, I cannot thank Ron enough for always going above and beyond with these commissions!
