Alfred Pennyworth by Ron Salas

Alfred Thaddeus Crane Pennyworth is the greatest butler in all of fiction (sorry, Jarvis!). He has served as a butler, driver, medic, cook, tailor, father-figure and more to Batman and his extended family. Although he had no children of his own, he has been a substitute father to Bruce Wayne, Dick Grayson, Jason Todd, Tim Drake and Damian Wayne. He is perhaps the only sane man who's insane enough to fully believe in and support a child's vow to eliminate crime. Alfred is everything we wish our parents would be. Someone who believes in our crazy dreams and supports in us in every way. Also, he is the only one who can continually get in great verbal jabs at Bruce. Ron drew Alfred looking dignified and proper, and yet he's holding the weapon of a costumed vigilante. That sums him up perfectly. Big thanks, as usual, to Ron for another stunning Bat-commission!
