Justice League of America # 47 Queen of Fables - Superman, Flash, Green Lantern, Aquaman, Martian Manhunter and Plastic Man!

As the JLA gather to investigate supernatural events, the Queen of Fables finds them first, and takes Wonder Woman away from them.

Green Lantern (Kyle Rayner) realizes that the Queen of Fables believes that Wonder Woman is Snow White. The JLA follow as Karl muses on the dark origins of the Modern Day/Disneyfied fairytales as they go deeper "into the woods".

Once inside, they discover that their powers wane as the split up to find Wonder Woman.

An absolutely banging story page, written by Mark Waid and illustrated by Hitch and Neary at their peak as a penciller/inker team! Gorgeous visuals nail every character and that last panel is constructed beautifully to draw the eye right into the darkness at the heart of this fairytale.
