I'm not a big consumer of recent (21st century, let's say ) panel gags, but I think Dan Piraro is really funny. And has a nice drawing style with all those sweet dashy shading lines. They create a nice texture, and the way Piraro curves the headboard and pushes the shading to black behind it to make the baby monitor pop is subtle and skillful.

A gag that many parents (esp. moms) can relate to.

Oh and what is going on under the night table??
