Marvel Fanfare #40 was a great issue. I never understood why they went with an Angel cover instead of a Storm cover since I would think she'd sell more books (yes, the Angel cover was by Mazzucchelli, but still). At any rate, this piece is insanely good! Hamilton clearly hasn't lost his touch.
Great piece by Craig. And you've certainly been doing your share re: promoting the ComicArtLive "Top" X-Men artists show !!
He draws Storm like Aquaman under the sea with the elements and special effects swirling around under her command. The dark colors add to a heightened dramatic feel to the action pose!
Love this one! Has that Heavy Metal feel to it. So good.

Oh yeah. I love me some Ororo Munroe and THIS is definitely her in her element! The dark palette works so well, and being able to differentiate colors the way he did with said palette...much easier said than done. A real feast for the eyes. Congrats!
