I picked this up when I braved covid to see "The Batman" (which, again, I liked). My wife read the plot (printed on the back of the flyer) and started laughing out loud.

"What?" I asked.

"He turns into a vampire because he uses bats to try and cure a rare blood disease? That sounds so stupid."

"Well, Roy Thomas watched a lot of old 50s science fiction movies," was my only answer.

Anyway, I have a strange affection for Morbius as my mother wouldn't let me buy the comic book because it had a (living) vampire on it. Forbidden fruit and all that, I guess.
