Description

When I started reading comics as a kid, I mainly read Conan, sword and sorcery and whatever I could find on the spinner at the 7-11 during vacation. When I got back into comics in the very early 90's, a kindly store clerk pressed a copy of Sandman in to my hands, and I was hooked. Because I liked the horror/fantasy stories, I was taken by the Midnight Sons books when they came out. If you don't remember them, it was Ghost Rider, Blaze, the Darkhold, and of course Morbius.

This page is full on 90's goodness ... from the pencils and feel to the oversized cape that EVERYONE needed to have. As a plus, references Dracula and Gary Oldman!!!

I've been looking for a good M�bius page to add, and I am happy to have this!

Interesting note, this was purchased from the estate of John Belfi, the Golden Age artist who passed in 1995. John taught at the Kubert School. This page was gifted by Ron Wagner to him and his wife.

What a detailed masterpiece! Makes the viewer feel they are right there in the city. So cool with Morbius lurking over the marquee!
