Description

This is page 29 from the story "Zio Paperone e la Spazioplastica", written by Massimo Marconi and illustrated by Giorgio Cavazzano, first published in Topolino magazine #1754 in 1989. I love Cavazzano's artwork from this period, to me is as close to perfection as it could possibly be!!!

The story is about an alien spaceship crash and the aliens' need of a huge quantity of gold (that basically only Scrooge could provide) to be able to repair their ship and leave.This will push Scrooge's generosity to the limit but, Scrooge being Scrooge, it will be also the opportunity to start a business outside of planet Earth.

I find the page extremely beautiful, including all the main characters (also John D. Rockerduck) and perfect shots by Cavazzano... including (but not limited to) his trademark silhouette!!!

Rock-solid Scrooge art with each character neatly in place. A lesson in clear storytelling!
