DescriptionOlivetti Cover Pencils to Justice League #72 (2022). An image that was most likely art direction to promote the upcoming Black Adam Movie with Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson. I feel Olivetti killed it on this cover, depicting two of the most powerful beings in DC . It would have been nice if Ariel painted the final colored version for this cover, but as we have seen, modern improvements with technology have allowed these pencils to transform into a digitally created final cover. Therefore, all Inks and Colors were done digitally, and these pencils are the only physical representation of original art for the Cover. I have always loved Olivetti's style on characters, much like David Finch, Gary Frank, and Jason Fabok, his art style is appealing to me and why I love to collect his art.Social/Sharing |
