Chey-Nu was one of a group of superpowered beings that were convinced by the mysterious Dark Man that their planet had been destroyed by the Legion of Super-Heroes. But even after he learned the truth, Lazon remained an enemy of the Legion, proving himself to be an evil degenerate. Lazon is probably the most powerful member of the League of Super-Assassins, with abilities to transform himself into light, fly at lightspeed, and project laser blasts, but his limited intelligence has always held him back from fully developing his powers. And that is a good thing for the Legion of Super-Heroes. I commissioned Gene Gonzales to draw Lazon, and he did a bang-up job. I love those angled turns of his flight, and his total jerkface. Simon Gough then added some great-looking colors. I particularly like the orange outlines on his yellow laser trail. Thanks to both Gene and Simon for their always fantastic work!
