A Garfield Christmas Special Garfield in Bed Production Cel Setup (Film Roman, 1987). "Hey, Garfield. Garfield, wake up!" Jon rouses the sleeping Garfield in the middle of his pleasant Christmas dream. Garfield isn't too pleased to find out that the lasagna he was dreaming about is nowhere to be found! This image depicts the lazy cat as he wakes up a few days before Christmas as Jon prepares to head to his family's farm for the holiday. This moment can be found at about the 2:21 mark of the Emmy-nominated A Garfield Christmas Special. This setup is composed of three original, hand-painted 12 field production cels that depict the cat as he slowly awakens in his bed. The combined image of the cat and his bed measures about 5.25" x 4". The cels are marked in their lower right corners with E3, G16, and HB53, and they are set atop a color print background for presentation. This piece is in Very Good condition, with minor handling and edge wear.
