Description

Junior Woodchucks Comic Story Preliminary and Finished Pages Original Art Group of 12 (Walt Disney, 1984). Here's the original published artwork for seven pages of artwork from "Stolen Birthday," which was produced for Disney by the Jaime Diaz Studio and originally published only in Italy and Brazil. The pages feature Huey, Dewey, and Louie as members of the intrepid Junior Woodchucks scouting troop. Co-stars include Donald Duck, Daisy Duck, Gladstone Gander, and the Beagle Boys, with brief appearances by Uncle Scrooge McDuck and Gyro Gearloose. The finished art is in ink on smooth paper, with an average page image size of 11.25" x 16". Some pages also include the original penciled preliminary page, in graphite on onionskin paper. Pages include 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 (no prelim page), 9, and 10 (no prelim). Condition of the preliminary pages is Fair to Good with handling and edge wear, tears, and fold creases; condition of inked finished pages is Very Good with minor handling and edge wear.
