Tim Sale went to a lot of conventions through the years and he was busy and beloved by fans where he went. RIP.

Tim Sale was a fantastic stylist, an amazing storyteller and simply a MASSIVE talent.

His great body of work will survive but HE and his oeuvre will be missed.

Holy moley - I am stunned and saddened by this news. I'm on the road traveling and just had a few minutes to check in... Hit CAF (before any news outlet, naturally :) ) and came in to check your new post to see this. A beautiful piece and heartbreaking news. Like many others, I had the great good fortune to have some really fun interactions with Tim at a few cons over the years, and I have always treasured the memories. I'll hold onto them doubly as tight now. A profound loss of an incredible artist. Thanks for "breaking the news" to me, Rubén. Sienkiewicz does a great job capturing the light in Tim's eyes here. So, so sad. RIP Tim Sale. ❤️

It's so sad to lose another legend in the hobby. Spider-Man: Blue was a masterpiece. Thanks, Ruben, for providing this tribute.
