Description

This is a commission completed recently using traditional inking and computer coloring.

I re-inked the King Kirby pencils in a style reminiscent of the late Frank Giacoia. I then had fun using the many filters in Painter to color the piece with some modern computer coloring flair.

I greatly prefer to paint traditionally and I may go back and paint this piece in oils. But time was a constraint in this commission.

I do believe, however, that this cover would sell even in today's market.
