Description

Here's art from page 27 of Silver Surfer #63 with pencils by Ron Lim and inks by Tom Christopher. I became friends with Tom back when I lived in Seattle. Once at a local comic book convention, he offered to give me a free page of art from a stack of originals. I chose this page because of the strong warrior skeleton imagery even though it doesn't show the Silver Surfer to great advantage.

This has that wonderful Jason and the Argonauts fantasy battle feel! Surfer has no room to maneuver putting him at a disadvantage at close hand to hand combat.
