Description

For some reason, Blondie originals from 1934 through the early 1940s seem to be MUCH rarer than the earlier strips, and infinitely rarer than strips from the 50s, 60s, ... I have probably seen less than 10 dailies and 5 Sunday page originals from the 1934 through 1939 period.

Update: I turned out that Chic Young's son, Dean, had been sitting on a large number of Blondie originals from 1931 onward, including many examples from the 1934-1935 period. The early Baby Dumpling strips may no longer be so rare, but I think that they are in large part more interesting than many of the earlier Blondie originals.
