Splinter, "Donatello Makes Time" Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles (TMNT) animation cel

This image appears almost at the conclusion of the episode where Splinter is communicating his typical "I told 'ya so and now you learned it" lesson to the Turtles.

This is a handpainted acetate cel layered over background print.

In this case, the the supplied background matches almost exactly the original episode context. These cels were sold framed in mats and protective plastic sleeves at various toy and department stores throughout the early 1990s under the "Animation Art" label. This cel was scanned both inside and outside the sealed plastic sleeve, letting you enjoy the full visceral experience!
