DescriptionBesides from their brief appearance in Uncanny X-men, Marvel Team-Up Annual 6 was the New Mutants first crossover comic. The New Mutants travel to one of the most dangerous places - a video arcade in NYC! They get in a fight with some crackheads, and Rahne and Roberto get abducted and experimented on. The drugs that created Cloak & Dagger get amped up when mixed with their mutant genes. Spider-man, Cloak & Dagger and the rest of the New Mutants team up to seemingly help cure the young mutants.Ron Frenz has had a storied career at Marvel, and is still at the top of his game. He did a great job of fitting all of these characters in in an organic way. 11x17 Social/Sharing |

LOL! I love that you specifically asked Ron to draw Sunspot and Wolfsbane in their guises as temporary crackheads! 😄

If only I was that clever! Lol. I try to keep my direction on commissions minimal. I just asked for those 5 characters in a situation from the issue.

Great representation from the Marvel Team-Up Annual #6 action. Nice to see the creator coming back for a really fun commission, I especially like Wolfsbane and Sunspots appearance, dangerous and rough around the edges.

Before we go any further, let's be
Friends
Is the meat they hang everyday
Most the time he teams up in the arcade
Now you can book the team up, again and again
But they temporary wouldn't know each other as friends
And if you ask me, don't know, I wouldn't have much wealth
Because a Frenz is artwork you judge for yourself
Some are just okay, and they display real cool
And some are great, you're a lucky son of a fool
We like the New Mutants, because they're funny
Dagger comes with Cloak when they fight some druggies
Some you grew up with, around the way
And you're still real close to this very page
Comics through the Summer, Winter, Spring and Fall
And then there's some issues we never read at all
And this list goes on, again and again
But these are commissions that we call Frenz

Definitely some nice overall composition, AND dynamic! I'm on his commission list...but no idea when my number get's called. Crossing fingers it's soon :) Congrats!
