I always liked the mysterious Time Trapper. Chess covers are also very cool!

I'm a huge fan of the chess motifs in comic book art as well. This is a spectacular example!

I always wanted the pages with Braniac vs the Time Trapper playing chess. The last page of the series lead into an epic corssover as well.

With most of the chess covers, the pieces are just pieces. But the characters playing the pieces here are clearly trying to escape but can't. I thought that was a nice touch.
