I made a rule for myself awhile back that variant covers weren't within the scope of my Cosmic Ghost Rider collection. But rules always have exceptions, don't they?

This was first published as a glow-in-the-dark SDCC exclusive variant cover for Cosmic Ghost Rider #1. It was later used again as a variant cover for Cosmic Ghost Rider #5 and most recently for the Cosmic Ghost Rider Vol. 1 Omnibus. It's arguably one of the most iconic images of the character and is the go-to for many articles and wiki entries. Which isn't surprising given the incredible dynamism Campbell was able to capture. It's also (surprisingly) one of the few great large images of CGR on his bike.

Unending gratitude to Scot for helping to add this one to the collection.

It's so good it was used multiple times, and it is very clear to see why. This is an amazing and iconic image of the character. One that is definitely worth breaking the variant cover rule for. Big congrats to you Rob, this is an absolute beauty!!

So awesome, Rob! One of my favorite more recent JSC images. He killed it. Dynamic stuff, no doubt! You must be careful opening that variant box, though...some other GOOD images :) Congrats, man!
