Description

I first became aware of Viktor from his work on Batman: Arkham Knight. His style oozes with Capullo influence, yet still remains very recognizable as his own. He's been on my radar since, but has mostly worked digitally or select pencils here and there. So I was excited when he announced that he was going to do some traditional pencil/ink work on his more recent batman projects. Managed to nab this beautiful cover that kick's off the Shadow War storyline.

Incredible! The Deathstroke background and the torn Robin costume add to the dramatic shadows on Batman.

Viktor is incredible! I absolutely love his work and feel that his style is so engaging. Hoping he gives us more traditional pieces moving forward. He is so good with a pencil.

Whoaaa! Absolutely stunning Batman cover! i love the contrasts between blacks and greys and whites. The art has a real chiaroscuro look! Fabulous pick-up!

The contrast between the light and the dark shadows from the top to bottom of the page just pulls you into the cover. Wonderful artwork. Congrats!
