DescriptionElektra Lives Again Cover (After Frank Miller) by Bill Sienkiewicz.Bill Sienkiewicz does an inspired homage to this famous cover by Frank Miller. It was such a striking cover, a singular image on a stark white background (see additional images for the original cover). One of Miller's most memorable images of Elektra, given a delicate treatment that is both Bill and Frank, with acrylic paint on 11x17 board. This is a pretty special one on my journey collecting Elektra art so far for sure. Very happy to have it in the collection. Man, I always LOVED this cover! With Miller and Sienkiewicz being my two favourite Elektra artists, it's great to see the second guy homaging the first here and I love the colors as well.
Fun Fact: In my early twenties, I worked at a place where the receptionist, an older woman, was named Elektra!

I must confess I am not the biggest Miller nor Sienkiewicz fan to begin with BUT this piece is truly exceptional. Congrats.
