Description

This one is a grail piece for me. One of the first comics I ever subscribed to as a kid was Excalibur during Alan Davis's legendary run and getting a two figure 11x17 piece that was penciled, inked and water colored by Alan Davis himself, of the Braddock twins Betsy and Brian, well that's as good as nostalgia gets to me. I commissioned this back in July 2022 but picked it up from him at Baltimore Comic Con in October 2022. He signed it in person in front of me at the con, so while this scan that his rep sent me before I picked it up doesn't include it, you can see it in the "additional images" where Alan is holding the piece.

So cool that they obliterate the framing device by powering out from it! You can feel her weight and muscle tension as Psylocke charges toward us!
