My 9x12 Psylocke as a metal head commission by Daniel Warren Johnson finally arrived (via his dealer Felix Lu of Felix Comic Art) and I couldn't be happier! As a Psylocke collecting metal head this is clearly a special piece to me. DWJ is a trve metal head and the perfect artist for a piece like this with all of the band patches/logos, the Randy Rhoads Jackson V with the iconic crackle finish, the 5150 III head and just the overall aesthetic and vibe of the piece. I am a big DWJ fan and collector: I have complete runs of his Murder Falcon, Wonder Woman: Dead Earth and Beta Ray Bill comic series, including all variants, reprints, and collected editions, and I've gotten them all signed by him. This piece is definitely the crown jewel of my DWJ collection and I can't wait to get it framed and on the wall. I ordered this when the pandemic lock downs were just starting in March of 2020 and I'd def say it was well worth the wait.

I think he knows his audience or Felix cues him in, as every piece he's done appeals to the specific collector's sensibilities.

This is too cool from the pose and best to that reverse headstock Jackson to the 5150 head. Love it!
