Maria (Deadly Class) Commission by Matteo Scalera

Matteo is one of the best cartoonists of his generation, and I've been buying pages and commissions from him at every opportunity for well over a decade. He's also become a buddy over the years, and it was delightful seeing him after years where he didn't attend US conventions because of the pandemic. Matteo is such a master, and this Maria is stunning. Even take note of how intentional he was with the white space, which is drawn to look like Maria's fan blades.
