Description

I was pleased to get some pages from ROAD TO PERDITION by Max Allan Collins and Richard Piers Rayner directly from Mr. Piers Rayner. This page features the "Angel of Death" - clearly modelled after Montgomery Clift - in the midst of a violent confrontation. These incredibly detailed pages are all the more remarkable in that they are only about half the size of a traditional comic original.

They each look like they can be separate illustrations, if the book was written in prose. Every one of them is charged with emotional depth as we read the captions to figure out what motivated the massacre.
